The project involved reimagining multiple floors of the building, introducing a new arrival experience, transforming previously cellular office layouts into open, flexible workspaces, and delivering premium plug-and-play floors ready for immediate occupation.

Inspired by the creativity and energy of the surrounding Angel neighbourhood, the design balances bold, playful moments with a refined neutral backdrop. Rich colour accents, expressive furniture, and carefully curated styling inject personality throughout the building, while allowing enough flexibility for a wide variety of occupiers to make the space their own. The result is a workplace that feels complete from day one without requiring tenants to layer in additional design.

A key objective was to maximise openness and adaptability. Existing partitions were removed to create bright, flowing floorplates that better support modern ways of working. A new reception establishes a welcoming first impression, while furnished terraces extend the workplace beyond the building, offering valuable amenity space and encouraging collaboration and wellbeing.

Furniture and finishes were carefully selected to complement the building’s modern services, including underfloor heating and cooling, ensuring the workplace performs as well as it looks. Throughout the scheme, a hospitality-inspired approach creates a warm, engaging environment that appeals to creative businesses while remaining commercially versatile.

The result is a bold yet balanced workplace that breathes new life into 70 White Lion Street. Combining flexibility, personality, and thoughtful design, the building has been transformed into a vibrant plug-and-play destination that reflects the character of Angel and provides occupiers with an inspiring place to work from day one.
